With deep love and gratitude, we remember George L. Greening devoted Husband, beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Fur Poppa and Friend to all. His life was defined by service, hard work and unwavering commitment to make those he loved laugh.

A proud Marine veteran George carried the values of discipline, honor and service throughout his life. After his military service he continued to answer the call to help others as a volunteer EMT and Firefighter for SFFD,During his 26-year career with Verizon’s Power team, he maintained battery backup and generator systems for crucial communication needs. He never hesitated to step forward when someone was in need. Serving others was not just something he did - it was who he was. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered!
