Obituary of Anthony Arpino

Anthony (Tony) Arpino passed away on December 24, 2025 at the age of 97 years old. 
He was born and raised in Astoria NY to Vito and Maria Arpino, and had seven siblings,
one brother and six sisters.    He served in the Army from September 1950 to November
1956.  Tony worked as an Architect In the building department for the Board of
Education of the City of NY until retirement.


Tony was extremely handy and had many hobbies including target shooting, fishing,
boating and restoring clocks.    There was nothing he could not fix.  


Married to Betty (Roubal) Arpino, together they raised a family of seven children,
Tommy, Michael, Donna, Cathy, Judy, Claire and Mary in Bellrose NY and then in New
Hyde Park NY with summers in Greenport , NY where many happy memories
were shared.  From these children were born twelve grandchildren and ten great
grandchildren.  


He will always be remembered by his family devotion, sense of humor, his incredible
memory and knowledge even at the age of 97 years.  


Visitation will be on Sunday January 4, 2025 at the William E. Law Funeral
Home in Massapequa NY from 2-4 pm  and 7-9 pm.  Burial on Monday January 5 at
Calverton National Cemetery
