Peggy was a devoted member of Maria Regina Parish for 56 years, where she attended mass regularly and was a supportive member and friend to countless others in the congregation. Her children and grandchildren all attended Maria Regina Elementary School, where she was an active volunteer for many years.
Peggy’s family took great pride in her work ethics and resilience, including graduating from Secretarial School at Grace Institute of NY, achieving an early career as an Executive Assistant at the prestigious Grace National Bank in Manhattan; and later in life, becoming an accomplished Chiropractic Office Manager , despite simultaneously battling serious illnesses and still raising her family. She was also a skilled accordion player, at home, to the delight of her family . However, if you asked her, her biggest achievement was her loving family and her greatest gifts were her grandchildren.
Peggy's strong dedication to faith and family was a cornerstone in her life Peggy was very proud of her Celtic heritage. She cherished nothing more than spending quality time with her family and friends, and being there to support, encourage and love others. She was truly a selfless person, who drew the most joy from seeing the joy in others. She inspired and comforted others with her heartfelt words and beautifully handwritten notes. Her presence will be dearly missed by the many whose lives she touched.
