Obituary of Brian E. Rudolph
Brian Rudolph, a beloved husband, father, son, and friend, died on August 28, 2025. He was 44.
A lifelong Long Islander, Brian grew up in Baldwin and was a proud graduate of Chaminade High School. Over the years, he lived in Denmark, Brooklyn, and New Jersey, but for the past ten years, he and his family made their home in Massapequa, where he was a vital part of the community.
Brian celebrated life—and welcomed everyone around him into the party. He rooted for the Giants with passion and gusto. He was a generous cook who loved preparing meals for family and friends—BBQ in the summer, chili in the winter, and every holiday in between. He never lost the magic of Christmas he felt as a child. He was always happy in a pool of water whether swimming, floating, or just watching his kids play. He loved making people laugh. And he had a deep love for Billy Joel—the music, the stories, and the spirit behind them.
Known to many as Coach Brian, he was a dedicated and involved figure in Massapequa’s sports community. He coached flag football, supported local softball teams, and was always rooting for the Massapequa Mustangs—offering encouragement and showing up for kids, not just his own. But the title he cherished most was Dad.
Brian is survived by his loving wife, Deb, and their three wonderful children: Emma (14), Maggie (13), and Jack (9); his father and stepmother, Dick and Phyllis Rudolph; and friends too numerous to name—from every chapter of his life. He was predeceased by his sister, Jackie Rudolph; his mother, Janet; and his loving aunt, Carol Balzarini.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Brian’s memory may be made to his children’s college fund. https://everloved.com/life-of/brian-rudolph/
