Obituary of Louis Anthony Amato
In Loving Memory of Louis Anthony Amato.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, husband, and friend, Louis Amato, who left this world on July 30, 2025 surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on August 24, 1950 in Brooklyn Louis lived a life defined by love, hard work, humility, and a deep devotion to his family. He was the rock of our family, the one we turned to for advice, laughter, and unwavering support. His quiet strength, positive energy and deep integrity shaped the lives of everyone lucky enough to know him.
A man of great character and generosity, Louis dedicated his life to engineering and community service. But his proudest role was always that of a family man. He was a devoted husband to Marie Amato for 52 years, a proud father to Dawn and Charlie and an adoring grandfather to 5 grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride.
He found joy in the simple things, Sunday dinners, family holidays, backyard conversations, and cheering on his grandchildren on the field or at competitions. He taught us what it means to be loyal, kind, and strong. He was, quite simply, the best of us.
His legacy will live on in the lives he touched, the values he instilled, and the love he gave so freely.
In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated in his memory to:
