Obituary of Linda A. Guglielmo

Linda A. Guglielmo of Lindenhurst, NY, passed away peacefully on June 29th, 2025.

Born March 2nd, 1950 in the Bronx NY, Linda grew up in Queens and attended Catholic school throughout her education. She became an Executive Secretary at Pepsi and Exxon companies and later after moving to the Hudson Valley, worked her most rewarding job as a Special Education Aide in the elementary school of New Paltz Central School District. During this time, she also taught religious instruction for children.

Linda loved being by the water, music, humor, catching up with friends and cooking for and spending time with her family. When her husband became ill, she took care of him day and night for years until his passing, never foundering on the vows of “in sickness and in health.” She prayed the rosary and Divine Mercy every day. Her devotion led her to become a member of the Legion of Mary where she brought faith and hope to those she met.

She is preceded by her mother Clara, father Philip, brothers Ronald and Philip, and husband Joseph. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Linda, son John, daughter in law Janneth and granddaughter Madeleine (Maddie) whom she loved “To the moon and back”, as well as countless friends.  

Linda’s dedication to serving others leaves a lasting mark on all who had the pleasure to know her, keeping her memory alive through continued acts of service she inspires.
