Obituary of Carmela R. DeCarlo

Carmela DeCarlo, of Massapequa, passed peacefully on June 12, 2025. Carmela was a loving wife to Nick for over 60 years. She was a loving mother to Patricia (Don), Steven (Michele) and Paul (Maryann). Carmela was a cherished grandmother (‘Nanie’) to Michael (Dina), Christopher, Nancy (Ryan), Jessica (Matthew), Paul (Jackie), Heather (Josh) and Nicholas (Ana). She was a loving great-grandmother to Kate, Mike, Caleb, Madison, Jacob, David, Cecelia and Lorenzo. Carmela enjoyed spending time with her family, getting her hair done, attending church on Saturday afternoon, and being involved with organizations such as the Knights of Columbus where her and her husband had many friends. She enjoyed spending time with her dog Coco. Carmela was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
