The most selfless, caring, and warm hearted woman you’ll meet. A kind soul. She was special in many ways but particularly special always making it a point to check in with her family and friends. Everyday, all year round. I always loved talking sports throughout the year with her (Baseball, Hockey, Football). She didn’t miss a beat! She was up to speed on all the latest news and buzz in the sports industry. A very knowledgeable and passionate sports fan. Stats, scores, standings she had it covered.
I have received many cards in the mail throughout the years from my Aunt Dawn. From high school, through college and beyond she always wrote to me. After a while, I would say to myself “what am I gonna do with all these cards”? So in the meantime I gathered them altogether and put them all in a folder and would frequently continue to add to the folder as time went on. I am so glad I did that. I held onto them all, each and every one. I will forever cherish all the amazing messages inside. She was one of one. An absolute gem.
I will dearly miss you Aunt Dawn.
Love you always XOXO

"Hello my dear sweet Tori" is a message I would wake up to for as long as I could remember. My Aunt Dawn was one of the most special people in my life - she had my back through every journey, trial, and tribulation. Her unwavering support, wittiness, and love got me through some of the most challenging times in my life. She found positivity in everything! Her outlook on life has influenced me so much and is something I will carry with me forever. I have every handwritten card she wrote me and I will cherish them always. I miss her terribly. "I love you always and forever - to infinity and beyond"

Our sweet Aunt Dawn
Filling our birthdays with endless gifs and joy; there was never a celebration or hard time where she didn't let all of us know she was thinking of them. They don't make them like her anymore. A bright light, a shining joyful spirit. We all are better and will continue to be better because of having her. I don't have to hope, as I know there is a special chair up in the sky for her to enjoy all the pleasures that eternal peace has to offer. I will miss her dearly but feel comfort that she is everywhere now. In our hearts and minds, our sunshine in the sky. Love you Aunt Dawnie
With love,
Niece Leanne

I am proud and blessed to have had a friend as wonderful as Dawn. She was the nicest person I have ever met in this world. She would do anything and everything for everyone, always thinking of others before herself. I met Dawn at school where we worked many years together always laughing and enjoying the kids we had in class. Our friendship grew as she was always there to help me. She was my dog whisperer. She took care of my dog every time i needed her and was by my side when he crossed the rainbow bridge. She would do anything for me and i was truly grateful. I will miss her tremendously! Her love kindness thoughtfulness and friendship will always be remembered. Joanne Dachille

God Himself will be with them; He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain anymore for the former things have passed away.

You can’t pick a mother-in-law for your daughter, but if we could have, it would have been Dawn. She was such a loving welcoming person. We have a few special memories we will treasure. The first time we met, I smiled and said hello and Dawn grabbed me, apologizing and saying she was a hugger! We have enjoyed going to Jackie and Brian’s so much the last few years, putting up Christmas decorations and having dinner. Such fun! We were fortunate enough to go on vacation to Sesame Place with the family. So friendly and easy to get along with. We will miss her good luck Yankees images, when they were playing the Mets! We were so blessed to have Dawn in our lives.
Love, Kathy and Bob

There are not enough kind words that I can use to describe Dawn. I had the privilege of meeting her when our boys were in kindergarten. Her and Ira would coach the baseball teams and Brian would keep score. But she always found time to put french braids in (my daughter) Courtney's hair. One of the many memories I will treasure. It was the most wonderful thing reconnecting with Dawn, in 2013. Knowing her has made me a better person. Anyone that was touched by Dawn's love and kindness was always amazed by how wonderful one person could be. She was selfless raising a wonderful family and always caring about everyone else. I consider myself blessed to have been called her friend and I will miss her tremendously.

To my beautiful friend and sister,
May you rest in Eternal Peace. I love you so very much my sissie grandma and I will miss your morning texts the most. Your love for your family and friends knows no bounds, and will be forever in our hearts.
My favorite memory would have to be when we were young and off on Friday afternoons from work. We would go to the deli, and order great things for lunch and watch our soap operas at your house. The best thing that anyone can say about someone is that they were, and are, Beloved.
