May Peace and may Gods gentle handle provide some solice and comfort. I’m sorry I could not be there to pay respects for a woman I’ve always admired and loved, just as I do for all of you.
One quick memory that makes us smile is when your mom and day came home one day while John T was up in your “banana” tree and your mom said you better get down or I’ll shoot you with an elephant gun. Classic.
I’m glad that several years ago while visiting I was able to tell your mom how much she meant and the impact she had on my life. The over used saying applies, it does take a village and practically growing up on Kings your Mom and Dad commanded a respect and boundaries that we needed. And did so by their mere presence.
I’ve never forgotten my time nor all of you.
